The 1965 Blue Cortina...parked at the beach early 80's just before it was stolen from a David Bowie concert at Western Springs. The theives took off with all known recordings of this great band - I thought they would have been safe stored in the trusty boot. Anyway, the Blue Cortina was subsequently found abondoned a few days later and ended it's life at the wreckers shortly thereafter. Despite a widespread search the stolen music archives were never recovered.

It was a disaster having the music flogged. A disservice to humanity as this music epitomised the juxtaposition of disaffected youth and the awakening of a new generation of affected paranoids. I was lucky enough to go to one of the no-ones gigs and I can't remember anything, the music and atmosphere was so overwhelming. One of the highlights of my youth! The no-ones led the way for many other New Zealand Garage bands.
